Still

$150.00

Beauty isn’t always in blue skies and sunny days. This little landscape captures the feeling of late afternoon on a cloudy day, across the still waters of one of K’gari’s (Fraser Island’s) many waterholes.

'Still' evokes a sense of peace and at the same time of unsettledness or uncertainty - that feeling of being out in nature, with dark clouds rolling in, not knowing if rain is going to start falling… Cosy under the cloud cover, but at the same time a little unsettled and exposed.

With its beautiful colours and limited palette - ‘Still’ was created on a very serene painting day that felt so true.

25 x 30cm acrylics on canvas, wired ready to hang. Framed in a Tasmanian Oak float frame handcrafted by my father Gerry.

**Please note shipping costs are extra and will be quoted before payment (Australia only). For international shipping, please contact me prior to purchase to obtain a quote. Local collection may be available within the South Burnett and Sunshine Coast regions. Please contact me to discuss this option.
