Exquisite things

from $75.00

This fine art print is one for the starry-eyed wildflower lovers, who want to bring a little of nature’s artistry and magic into their home and life.

Have you ever walked in a beautiful wild place, and imagined what it would be like to explore it at night? What new magic would there be to find? How would you feel if your torchbeam came to rest on unique flowers of various shapes, sizes and colours? Would they look like lanterns or fairy lights, illuminated against the night sky? Now imagine this experience captured in an artwork…

‘Exquisite things’ is about embracing contrast, and explores concepts of diversity, similarity and beauty across the life cycle. It pays homage to various Southern Queensland varieties of native banksia - robur, oblongifolia, aemula and integrifolia - and their flowers in the various forms of development, blooming and decay. Also featured are the beautiful hovea, broad-leaved hakea, green five-corners, Queensland waxflower, bushy whitebeard and the devil’s rice flower, making this a true celebration of wallum wildflowers.

“Don’t be afraid. There are exquisite things in store for you. This is merely the beginning.” Oscar Wilde

A variety of print options are available to suit your home and style. Choose from multiple sizes and layout options, including square and rectangular prints.

Fine Art Prints:

30cm, 40cm, 50cm and 60cm square prints

A3, A2, A1 or 40x50cm rectangular prints

All prints are printed in Queensland with the highest quality archival materials. After testing various fine art papers, I have selected Hahnemühle Natural Agave 290gsm for its excellent colour reproduction, intense blacks and rich, yet delicate texture.

Delivery within Australia is $15 flat rate for one or more prints. Please contact me for international shipping enquiries.

Prints are made to order. Please allow up to 5 days for printing and dispatch.

Frames to fit these print sizes are available from your local framer, or online from Profile (www.profileproducts.com.au), Frame Fox (www.framefox.com.au) and Modern Art Framing (www.modernartframing.com.au).
